What is an Affiliate Program?
Our Affiliate Program allows you to place links to our web site on your web site. We pay you a bounty for each user that travels to BeNetSafethrough one of these links and performs the subsequent action of making a qualified subscription purchase.

Why should I join?
There are many reasons to join! Becoming an affiliate of BeNetSafe is free, and you'll make money with very little effort. Plus, as our partner you will be providing your customers with a valuable tool; a service that lets them know what personal information their children are leaving on social networking sites such as MySpace and Xanga and identify potentially dangerous and risky online behavior.

Does it cost anything to become an affiliate of BeNetSafe?
No! It's absolutely free to join our Affiliate Program. There is no charge to apply and there is no minimum sales requirement.

Does my site qualify for the affiliate program?
All sites are welcome, with exception to sites which are involved in or promote illegal activity or content. There are no web site traffic minimums so whether your site is established or new, you're encouraged to apply. We personally review all applications and notify affiliates within 24 business hours of their acceptance.

Can I join if my site is not based in the United States?
Yes, but all commissions will be paid in U.S. dollars only.

How do I sign up?
First, you must read and accept our Affiliate Agreement. Then, you must complete our online application form. After your application is submitted, we will contact you to let you know if you've been accepted as an Affiliate, and we will provide you with information on how to get started.

What are the ways an affiliate can earn commissions in your program?
An affiliate can earn commissions through our cost per action campaign. The BeNetSafe program pays $7.00 for every monthly subscription and $10.00 for every annual subscription sold.

How often do affiliates get paid?
When the revenue you have generated for your account exceeds $25 your payment is sent to your address monthly. If you do not reach the $25 minimum within a month, the amount generated is carried forward to the next month. You can view your sales statistics through your Commission Junction account throughout the month to see how you are doing.

Does BeNetSafe provide marketing banners and text links for my site?
Yes, once you have joined our program, you will have access to a library of high quality banners and text links to select from, in a range of styles to suit a wide range of web site designs. We also supply everything needed to add those banners to your web pages.

Does the BeNetSafe program offer reporting tools for affiliates?
Yes, the advanced affiliate management system in Commission Junction gives you a wealth of information about your progress including number of clicks, number of impressions, total revenue generated and much more!

How frequently are my statistics updated in your reporting tool?
Our affiliate management system reports your clicks using real-time tracking. However, your sales and commissions are based off of sponsored clicks ("commerce clicks") being generated. All sales and commissions are updated daily, but with a one-day calculation period. Information for any particular day will be available to view in your reporting the following day by 5pm EST.

How will you know that clicks came from my site?
All links from your site to our site contain a unique identifier so that every time a user comes to us via your site, we know to credit you when a qualifying commerce click is made.

What is Amount Due?
Amount earned prior to 30 days ago and received payment from advertiser. This means, if today is March 15, and you generate commissions from January 31 and prior - this is the amount that is due to be paid to you.

What is Amount Pending?
Amount earned in the 30 days prior to the end of last month. This means, that if today is April 15th, and you earned $100 from March 1st to March 30th that is the Amount Pending.

This is the total commissions you have earned to date.

This is the amount we have paid to you to date.

When are payments made to me?
Payments are made to you 30 days after a month's accrual. Meaning if you accrued $100 in January, you will be paid March 1st or thereabouts.

Why have I not been paid?
Reasons you may have not received payment could be: You have not yet met the minimum commissions, it has not been 30 days after the revenues have accrued, you have not earned any commissions, the money is in the mail or your site has been under investigation for fraud.

Can I participate in paid search to promote my site and BeNetSafe services?
Yes, with some restrictions.

Affiliate will observe BeNetSafe’s exclusive rights as to the names of its properties, including but not limited to BeNetSafe, and BeNetSafe.com within all pay-for-placement and other search engines. Additionally, Affiliate may not claim to be BeNetSafe in any pay-for-placement or other search engines. If Affiliate violates this policy, Affiliate will be terminated and BeNetSafe reserves the right to charge back, and/or disallow any and all commissions.

Affiliates may not bid on the BeNetSafe’s name including, but not limited to BeNetSafe.com, www.BeNetSafe.com and misspellings or variations of our names. Affiliates may use any other keywords on any pay per click search engine to promote BeNetSafe, but may never bid higher than BeNetSafe.
